Well 8.6fdr really will seem like a rocket... for about 3 feet.

Ok here is the official reply from Robk regarding this endcap replacement. http://teamnovak.com/shop/index.php?...roducts_id=495

"As far as I can tell, it is the same as the Boss motor endcap. Either way, if it is the only part that will fix your motor, it will have to do. Go ahead and use it.

Rob "

All Windsor heads look the same till you take them apart. If he wouldn't let you look, he probably had a big block!

After a conversation with Shaun Mac in which I ended up being called a lexan whore, I decided to count up my shells. So I ring in at 14 VTA shells. Six are painted. I think I have about twenty USGT shells. Many of them actually are painted. So I was just wondering if anyone else was a lexan hoarder like me.

If I'm not mistaken - take a 302 "Small Block" BLOCK and put the 351 "Cleveland" 4bbl (Big Block) heads on it ... Now you have a HOTROD motor!

Actually the Cleveland 2bbl heads would be a better choice for a 302 in the street.

Ah, a Boss 302, music to the ear. The exhaust ports were just a tad too big for normal street use. Edelbrock also makes full aluminum heads to match their intakes. Canted valves, semi-hemi chambers, right sized exhaust ports. Makes a nice street/track engine. The only thing you really have to do is get the 4 bolt crank mains so it doesn't disassemble itself at high RPM. I'm hoping to get the VTA look going on this full sized version. The Vintage 45 wheels will help.

Yep, ported to 1.70. Nice medium to high lift cam. The Aussie heads have the 2bbl intake size, but the 4bbl cumbustion chamber. Should be relatively easy to get the compression in the right range for Premium pump gas.

Yep, he always said they were Cleveland heads....you nailed it!! He loved showing off in front of a crowd. I can't say I wouldn't have done the same. It was impressive! Sorta resembled a Kyle Busch or Harvick burnout after a win.

That would of been quite a thumper. The dead giveaway would be the valvecovers and the funny intake manifold.
