Hey potoczak! Well because the wildfire rotates so well and doesn't scrubs speed in the corners, it should be a obvious standout for vta. Remember " vta races are won by rear toe" or I should say lack there of. As for hints, certain parts are beefed up and moved around for the "impacts" of vta. Better weight distribution to compensate for the offset of vta tires. Drivetrain efficiency is going to be awesome, It will drive like a very dialed touring car even with the aero challenged vta body's. testing setups and layouts now.
As for droop , I use an old school gauge off the bottom of the chassis, no droop blocks. So the numbers are from the (hold under the chassis to the arm method). Ok as far as links. If your looking down on your car. (Bumper north, rear south) the front links are upper inner holes and the rear links are lower inner if that makes sense?
Hope that helps.

Tight Squeeze
FDR in the VTA class at the Gate is below 4.0 some guys running as low as 3.6 maybe even 3.5. I would like to keep the spur gear as small as possible. When I run a large pinion I have top brace clearance issues. I was able to file the top brace just enough to make room for a 47T, but I'm not sure how much larger I could or would want to go with the pinion in order to get my FDR where it belongs.
If we had a couple of options for different belt pulleys that may help as well.

Yes a redesign of the motor mount would be nice.

Eccentric Cams
So can you actually rotate the eccentric bearing holders without loosening the upper bulkhead screws? You can't for example on a Sakura because the upper bulkheads clamp down pretty hard on the eccentric bearing holders (without shimming).

That is awesome!

I'll be running VTA. I'm not concerned with the ratio, I'll be running 78/35 for a 4.2 FDR. I just want to know that it will fit on the car properly cause I can't find a VBC 78t 48p spur. So basically, will this spur mount on the wildfire;
