Loctite Free Screws and Bolts

Loctite Free Screws and Bolts
I'm thinking of marketing screws, nuts and bolts for R/C Cars, Planes, and Boats that do not require the application of loctite but retains the torque capability of loctite without the mess. Therefore, the loctite type application will be applied through a manufacturing process for the most common sized screws and bolts used in R/C. In addition, the bolts and screws can be removed and reinserted over 100 times without losing its torque capability.
Let me your thought on this and if you would be instested. I am looking for people to test the screws in their cars and planes. If you are interested, let me know what size you need and I will send you some for testing.
Thanks,
Tim

I haven't seen these screws with the drylock already applied. Do you have a link to them? They must not be widely known yet.

I got some with threadlock on in AE kits a few years back (to hold steering blocks) this is a good idea, but the biggest problem is the quality of metal used in screws, many heads go bad if too soft or using poor quality tools.
If you have some to try, I'll be happy to do the "guinea pig" for you, my kits are TC6, so M3 size for all.

The hardware quality issue has been the major issue trying to obtain the hardware I need to test but I have found some 12.9 grade hardware to test the application today. I'l post the sizes I order tonight.

i haven't seen a blue treatment, but 'vibra-tite' is a red material that is reusable.

Red, blue or yellow doesn't matter. The application can still be the same in any color.

Hi Tim
If you want to send me a couple of the M3 to test, I'll put them where it might be the riskiest to get unscrewed, but I reiterate the fact that if the screw quality is poor, and the threadlock is "too strong" you will have problems with damaged heads.
pm me if you want.

That is the truth with any type of screw and driver combination!! You have to have qualitity on both ends or else it doesn't work. Maybe the screws will do the trick as I'm curious about the screws, the patch locking and how well they will work in the field overall.

Good News!! The Screws are ready!!
Hey Guys,
I should receive the screws tomorrow and I will be sending them out to all of you who requested them on Friday. I look forward to you test results in the near future and maybe these screws will solve some of your current issues with Loctite.
Thanks,
Tim
