oh, I thought the factory guys usually had pits along the track? Some shots of how people are pitting in their rooms would be cool too.

Everyone pits in their hotel room. Around the track (at least in the past) has been the radio impound, scoring area, tech and lots of specators.
The hotel runs the race system over the televisions so you can see when you are due up and what's going on downstairs. It really is the coolest race out there.

How and who do you suppose is inputting the info into the hotel tv system? Sounds pretty high tech. It would be cool if they had a fixed camera on the track also, that was piped into the rooms. In the past I have heard about all sorts of hallway antics. Anybody drag racing down the halls yet?
