Just so everbody knows , the latest batches of cells have not been producing many 1.15's so 30.00 packs are not available and have not been for a couple of months now . I will have 40.00 matched packs available again soon , about a week. Sorry , but I will see what I can do about supplying some cheeper matched packs if possible . It's just a little difficult since GP raised there price , and we are not getting 1.15's any more. Probably a direct correlation .

Default But...

...supply and demand would seem to indicate that if this current "trend" continues that 1.16's would become the "new 1.15's" and the price would (should?) drop accordingly for those 1.16 packs. The reason for the higher price on the "higher" voltage packs is relative scarcity. If the base line has risen, it effectively creates a new "floor". The benefit is then the consumer gets a better battery for the dollar (yen/yuan/Euro/insert currency of choice) and it is revenue-neutral for the matchers compared to the previous norm of getting lots of 1.15s.

I got a pack from Integy mathced 1.177-1.179 Sanyo 3600 for $59.00 thought you guys should know. They say like 1.2+ but that isn't the avg. So take a look. I love this pack it gives me like 10.5 minutes full track run time....INSAIN. Although I have a unmatched pack from peak that are 3000 and they give me 6.5 mins. They also reach a higher voltage than even my Fusion matched 1.17+ pack and that pack of 3300 last 6.0 minutes full track time, although I do get more out of the Fusions. They are another great matched pack but man are they expencive.
These are just my two pennies
Enjoy

www.promatchracing.com
1.16's for $29.00 for this months special.

http://www.brahmaracingproducts.com/
1.15's for $29.95

http://www.team1rc.com/
1.16's for $32.99

MiniMan- SRC-----I have ran those packs and they arent bad but they loose their punch quite fast.
Fine for the average racer.

Integy Packs are fine but still matched at 20 amps.

If some of you guys want some nice packs I have about 10 packs assembled that have less than 8 charges on them.
$32.00 a pack shipped. The more you buy the cheaper they get due to combined shipping.
Already put together and 1.16's or higher.
Understand when I say $32.00 shipped thats $1.00 for paypal fee's and $4.00 or so for shipping.
They are already assembled so you dont have to.They are side by side but if you need them in saddle form thats not a problem.
Just need to know the length of wire used.

Email me at [email protected] if intrested and I will get pics sent to you.

For a spell-I ran unzapped, matched packs for practice. I own two Turbo Matchers-so this was easy. When they are new-they run pretty darn strong, but you wouldnt want to race them. I was a GP distributer and sold around 10,000 cells a month-so when I'd get a crushed case of batteries-I would sell them in smaller bulk quantities and take some for practicing. Worked out well for me.

For reasons that are hard to explain-a zapped/matched pack lasts longer in performance than unZAPPed-so even though you save a lot of money using unzapped cells, they dont stay fast as long.

You can also buy a home zapper like the Integy DCX3000 and zap your own cells. Just make sure youve got a discharge tray to get all the charge out of the cells before zapping.

OH-yeah-it helps to have a point while posting.
YOu might get lucky and talk a matcher into selling you some cells that he hasnt processed yet. but dont expect mircles. 1.14 to 1.15 at best unzapped. But they will be cheap!!

I bought two packs of those matched zebra cells on ebay for $34.50 Buy It Now. The guy said they are the shorty cells. Hopefully the numbers will be correct.

With today's prices it really doesn't make sense to buy unmatched/bulk cells. You can get matched 1.15 - 1.16 cells for $5 a cell all day long.
