[QUOTE=Nuno Gancho;12138965]Hi Rich Valente, your rear upper arms looks great is it in-house made or we may purchase in same store, thanks
I got mine from Speedtech you will need spacers because the rear carbon arms are flat.

I received the new shimizu slicks for FGX.
The fronts have 5mm wider contact area and the rears have contact area that is 3mn wider.

Are they stiffer in the sidewall ? I found the grooved tyres tended to flex and tuck under mid corner ........

They flex as much. Part of the problem is the wheel design. If the wheels looked like tamiya foam wheels, the sidewall would have better support.

hey guys im looking at this kit as my next purchase ....im looking for the front and rear independent suspension setup with the exotek conversion.....my question is F1 paintlab has a sweet fgx efx conversion kit for 600 ....whats the difference between that kit and me just buying all the parts to get that kit..does the f1 paintlab kit have more parts to it? because pricing it out i can get that car just like that for half the price.....just looking for some clarification..thanks!

You can part it out yourself. Brad's version comes with custom anodizing so the whole car matches. If you get all the EFX goodies from Exotek and the standard kit, you will only need the rear spring kit, rear sway bar and High Speed Spur kit to build the car. The only other recommended option is the rear bearing carrier for the diff, get the set for the Zero S. From there add tires of your choice and paint and you're set.

I'm thinking of purchasing an FGX, I have a few questions for you guys.

How long do you guys expect parts and hop ups to be available for this car?

Being more of a F1 enthusiast than an RC enthusiast, I plan on the IFS upgrade. Beyond this I'm curious... Will I be able to buy different bodies/liveries for this car? or only the one 3Racing makes?

On a side note, I want a basic brushless electronics setup. My mission is CHEAP and conforming to specs for some weekend racing. Can you suggest me a motor, ESC, battery that is 1st cheap, 2nd will have long battery life, 3rd standard racing specs legal.

Last question (for now haha) What are "must have" upgrades? I plan on exotech front arms, and a titanium kingpin. Anything else?

I need some help as a F1 enthusiast more than an RC enthusiast on buying an FGX. Some quick questions...

1. how long do you guys expect parts and hop ups available for this car?
2. What bodies will fit this (minor alterations are fine)
3. Can you recommend a CHEAP brushless set up that is entry level racing specs legal, but most importantly would have good battery (motor, ESC, battery). If there isn't something that cheap thats racing legal, what brushless set up would you recommend for just having fun at open track days with long battery?
4. What upgrades are essential (major downfalls to the car.. I've heard front end grip and some weak parts) for this car? I will be doing the IFS 'upgrade', exotec front arms, and a titanium king pin... anything else?
