Measure the depth of the hole at the front using a small drill bit. you will want to drill the hole for the turnbuckle roughly 2mm further back.

Ideally you do not want the new turnbuckle hole/thread to enter the original shock mount hole.

I've had it for like 2 months, just never tried to install it until recentely. I wanted to use it to eliminate the flex the graphite ones have.

I really didn't want to go though all the trouble of sending it into losi or Todd

the hole circled is physically smaller, and the bushing will not fit into it, rendering it relitivly useless at the moment =)

I would if I had one, I'd be glad to give you a graphite one if you need it for the time being...

I was fortunate that the car I had purchased second hand that had only done 4 indoor meetings came wwith those on but seem to be fine is it not the thickness of the anodizing not leeting it fit properly?

You mention the graphite ones flex more, when I stripped my car down for a rebuild I found that the rear one on my original car was snapped it two, for how long, im not sure so im greatfull to my new car with the metal versios on it

Always good to go over the car before each run and see if you can spot any fractured parts. With everything being pinned together on this car, there are often times you can break something without ever knowing it..

LMK....I have no problem replacing it if it is defective.

I have just been told by a friend about a "Losi Hate Thread" on RCTech?

Did the thread starter have a VALID reason for this or was it just another impatient fool that probably has metric screwdrivers for the car?

He was mad that his XXXS wasn't as fast as his new Xray. Personally I'm pretty upset that my JRX-2 isn't as fast as my new XXX-BK2 and it's all Losi's fault for designing such a poor buggy.

Maybe he should just work a little harder on his XXX-S setup... that car was dialed.
