Paul C setup is a good start for carpet but it can be inproved on. 25# springs on the rear,on the front blocks run two shims under to give you 100, no o-rings in rear bladders, rear shocks in one more hole. that is a couple of things that make it on rails.

i ran my JRXS for the first time since i got it on Monday night...can't believe how easy it is to drive with the stup i got on it
i haven't driven a r/c car in a year and a half so i was quite rusty at it....i used year and a half old batteries that have never been charged or discharged since that long ago and a really old monster motor i had sitting in my pitbox for years(probably 15+ runs on brushes also)
the faster guys in stock rubber at my track are running about 11.4 seconds per lap on a good lap and 19 turn foam is at about 10 seconds (super fast guy((Brian Lutz)) is at high 9's )
i put in the trusty Orion Lap Counter and was running 11.5-11.7 a lap with this old stuff and a new car
i wonder how much i would gain with new batteries and motor plus i havent even started messing with the setup yet
i figure new batteries and fresh motor should get me at least half a second a lap.. i should be running in the mid 10's when im all set to go
another happy customer

Hi CCFM here
Im am sitting here preping my chassis and am a little confused as on the losi web site it says to glue the edge of the chassis, but when speaking with Dave Spashet the other day, he said not to do this as when the chassis 'Twists' a cracking sound can be heard which is apparently the glue cracking. I dont want to glue the edge if this is going to happen and having to remove the glue in the future, but bare in mind Dave Spashet does run a MSX
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I have run my jrxs on carpet with very good results (raced with the foam class for fun) and ran a 35/128 on a 110' striaght away. I also have a setup if you need.. it feels good for me anyways. That is for c2 bases.

I can only give you what I run on asphalt in 19 turn. I usually run 2 teeth higher than my ROAR or Monster stock motors on a given track. I would say start with the 37 and go from there.
