Default I wonder if Losi will update and make a CF conversion....

for the XXX-S. I still love that car. It would be nice if they would upgrade it to a CF chassis. There would be much less weight and the batteries could be moved in farther. I loved the XXX-S prototype. A lexan drive train cover could be made somehow. Pipe dreams, I reckon. Can anyone dig up an old pic of the prototype?

Where did the red ball cups come from? I'm reffering to the ones that some of the Losi drivers drilled out, to make ball stud removal easier (leaving the cup on the stud when removing the stud from the C-hub)?????

the Pro drivers did that themselves. All they did is rub away the tops of the ball cups so that theres a hole in them. You cant buy them. We dont really need to ask for more of the car. When they already made the car better. Its not going to make a big performace difference. I just want to see the car again at the Snowbirds. It's going to be great fun seeing the car again since the Worlds.

I will have to correct you on this. The reds are Matt Francis's losi brand ball cups. and the White are a Team losi brand that are smoother and tighter. If you don't like them white, then use RIT Die, and die them the color you want.

You are right, RPM doesn't make red ball cups. And the Red ones aren't necessarily a MF branded product. They are both Losi ballcups but they both came/come in the MF edition truck kits. The red ones in the original MF kit and the white ones in the new MF2 kit.

Default No problem...

regardless, go black. I would rather change over to RPM ballcups than mess with Ritz dye. I did it all the time when I was young. I had more juice back then, now I'm lazy. The gold and black looked cool on my RC10 back then.
