hahah I'll see what I can do for you clint!

From the Novak website:
From the example given, I can't tell if the $35 price came from the line in the table for the motor you are returning or for the motor you are receiving. For instance, suppose I return a model 3413 (discontinued 13.5 with smooth endbells) and request a remanufactured model 3401 (velociti 3.5). Is the exchange price $33+$10 ($33 being the option 1 fee for a 3413) or $42+$10 ($42 being the option 1 fee for a 3401)?
Customers returning a Novak brushless motor on the list below for non-warranty exchange can request a different model Factory-Remanufactured brushless motor. The additional service fee is only $10. For example, a customer can return a #3405 Velociti 5.5R motor and request a Factory-Remanufactured #3413-2 SS13.5 Pro motor for an exchange price of $45 ($35 + $10 fee).

The Evicerator
Mark,
The price is the line item for the motor you wish to receive.
So if you were trading in your 3413 towards a 3.5 the cost would be $42 + 10 + shipping and handling.

Thanks for the info about how exchanges work, makes sense.
Recently my transmitter settings got tweaked by accident and I lost full throttle, and because I didn't understand the LEDs it took awhile for me to figure out why my car was just a touch slow. So I've been trying to make sense of how the LEDs light up during normal operation of the GTB. What I observe is this:
Drag Brakes Enabled:
"on": Blue + Amber
push brake: Amber
No Drag Brakes:
"on": Amber
push brake: no LEDs lit
In both modes:
neutral: "on" + Red
full push brake: "on" + flashing Green
part throttle: "on"
full throttle: "on" + Green
This sort of makes sense except it would make *more* sense if, when you have drag brakes enabled and are using push brakes, the Blue LED were lit rather than Amber. Then push brake would equal "on" minus Amber, in both modes.
Is there some way to interpret the GTB's LEDs that makes more sense than what I've come up with?

Hi,
I have a question for steve or anybody who can give me a answer.
This weekend i went to the international speed weekend in germany. This is het big race with a lot of the top drivers.
I drove modified with a 4T brushless LRP and i had IB 4200 cells wich take a charge of about 4450 mah.My best run was 22 laps in 05:06,after this run i disharged my pack at 20 amps and there was still 450 mah left. This was maybe good for 1 or 2 extra rounds.
The a-main finalists where doing 23 laps and almost 24 laps i think,at the end of the last a-main the cars had to go to technical inspection,at some point one of the top driver took his car after the inspection and gave it to scotty who wanted to drive it,since the track was empty.Scotty did about 8 to 10 extra laps with more power then i have with a fresh full pack. This top driver was driving whit the same speed controller and moter as me.
Now i ame wondering if its realy his batteries that are so much better or was it maybe a better winded more effecient motor in combination with better batteries?
I do know that i saw some people at the event who where rewinding some brushless motors.

Brushless for Dummies!
Steve,
Thinking about getting a 13.5. Everybody is running the 13.5 in club racing and I can't keep up with them using my Cobalt!
I already have the 4.5 with the GTB ESC. The new EX 13.5 is it as fast as the Veliciti 13.5?
What sintered rotor would you suggest for the 13.5?
Will the one that came with the 4.5 work on the 13.5?
Sorry if this question has been asked already!
Thanks in advance!

17.5 roll out for onroad 1/12th on carpet.
2.84 rollout too 3.14 depending on track size. watch the temp on both but you will have no problem.

i am not doing this to be funny or mean in anyway, i am just curious. is novak working on equalizing the brushless motors to the current brushed stockers? or has that battle been given up and we are just waiting for the brushed motors to be phased out? i ask because i would still love to see the two combined and there be illegitimacy to saying that they are "equal" we know they arent, brushless still have more low end and get out of the corners better. i would like to see some company step up and progress this farther. the splitting of the 13.5 and brushed classes is hurting the competitiveness of the racing.i dont like seeing 10 in one and 10 in the other when it should be 20 total and having a bmain rather then everyone getting a free ticket to the A
p.s. nice to meet you at nats. i hope you enjoyed your time up here in the NW.
