The Schkee came with my first car- Leisure. I've got the prototype chassis with front supension made by Rocky Hagan from Florida ( the team leader).I also saw the real car race at Road Atlanta once. The car came up to my waist. It was also a pile on the track back firing and slow.

Saw this car up close at a Porsche dealer in Phoenix. Pictures don't quite capture how low and wide it is. But the most interesting thing was a sticker on the rear fascia just above the exhausts that said "Do Not Sniff Exhausts".

Hydrazine! Propylene oxide! Makes engines go real fast... for a few laps.

I took the picture at the Rennsport Porsche reunion at Laguna Seca a few years back. An incredible collection of Porsche's on display, and on the track at about 80% of anger!

When you compare the real car with the r/c mold, it's a pretty good copy. I wish we could get some more similar molds done of older cars.

It sounds like some of those German rocket scientists remained in Germany after the war.

Seeing that they had between 300 and 400 horsepower over the next fastest McLarens, don't know why they'd need exotic fuel, but I'm sure you're right.

I ran some of those bodies back in the days. Any old GT bodies? Did you make an ASA Camaro 1/12th ( we used that body in GT also). I have my concours body on the wall.

We do make a 70s Camaro that is 7" wide with an 8" wheelbase that can be used on 1/12th cars....
