Just picked up a Trinity Reflex 12, with the blue chassis. The T-bar is really low, almost no flex before the edge of it hits the chassis. Was the car designed this way or has a previous owner tried to lower the roll center by trimming the pivot balls?

The pivot ball holders might be mounted upside down.

Hi all! I found my old Parma Euro Panther or what is left of it. Basically it is missing the whole rear axle including spur and diff and also bearings. Does anyone have spare parts for sale? I'm sure RC12L parts can also be made to fit so I could also use those.

Kyosho 1/12 Steering Rods

I need some of those little tie-rods, but I'm not sure if I can stomach robbing it from one of my NIB kits! I'm sure I could use some of the Spada rods, but wonder if the ball ends might be too thick or if they'd thread onto some originals. Anyone have some experience using parts more readily available for this? I've got 3 'runners' in need (2 Plazmas & a Fantom)

Nice collection!

Looks like the collection of runners that I have.

Have you tried DuBro hardware for RC planes?

If not perhaps you might find the Kyosho hardware within the Optima line. From what I remember the hardware for the rod ends are the same. As for the rods themselves, you can just buy the threaded rods for airplanes and a Z bender tool and make them yourself.

I've got a barrel of Ultima/Optima rods but nothing seems to be short enough. It's the distance between where the threads end & the bend at the end. I guess I could go the home-made-route, as I'm not worried about retaining the 'vintage' quality, especially when it comes to the steering setup. This is the flimsiest area on these cars, and I'd like these to be full-time runners. I always prefer to find a vintage part to a custom effort though...I see lots of discarded rods with bad bends in my future lol:)

Have you guys seen the painted Parma Osella on ebay that was from the late 80's parma mag ads? It's such an iconic body for me, and I remember wanting to replicate that paint back then... With all of today's me too paint schemes, that's still cool to me. If I had a worthy vintage car it would be mine right now. Does this that body mean something to others here?

The schkee (sp?) was so ugly but cool at the same time. Brings back lots of good memories... Kinds of shots in the dark with the cars, a 12i and a Jomac?

Associated RC12E on the first, Lord knows on the second!

It's so wonderful seeing RC cars that actually look like real racing cars!

Foamie planes use rods like that for their control surfaces...just got to find some the same length. Or you can get some rod with a threaded end at a hobby shop, bend your own z-bend into them and cut to length. I did that with my last plane.
