Really? I think it looks great, its a subtle change to the standard black faced fibreglass plates.

Cheers

Hi vintage pan car gurus,

Hopefully someone here can help me source a few parts. I'm having no luck for the past several months at my usual channels (RC10Talk.com, eBay) so I'm hoping someone here has these items.

I'm resto-modding a Lucas/A.R.T. Agitator Pro-10 that I got for a song on eBay. The chassis came with half of a set of Sees wheels (yeah, only the right side...weird), I was able to track down a full set, plus a pair to complete the existing half-set. The chassis itself was in amazing condition, the plate didn't have a scratch on it! The only part that had wear & tear (and minor wear, at that) was the T-bar assembly. Even that looked pretty good.

Anyway, I just can't seem to find a pair of these pivot sockets; they're about 5mm thick and have 2 mounting holes instead of 4. My "good" one isn't smooth and the bad one...well, I think somebody stripped out the threads in the plastic and decided to mash some tiny nuts onto the mounting screws, which damaged the plastic. I'd really like to make some progress on this build, it's going to be amazing when it's finished...but these pivot mounts are holding me up!

I could also use those special flanged, inside-threaded washer-nuts (or whatever they're called); they insert into the 3 holes in the T-bar and fit flush with the top T-bar surface.

If anybody can help me out, it would be much appreciated!

Did you find ant pivots ?

I was about to put these up on ebay but I though I would see if anyone here was interested in them first. DA wood core graphite RC12L chassis in great shape, only a few scratches. GPM 1 piece rear pod (Slight bend in the motor mount), HPI kickup rear lower pod plate in great shape, only a couple scratches. And a Litespeed heat sink motor mount with the fins cut down. Some great older items here if your looking to make a truly unique shelf queen :)

I did actually, thanks for asking. I also picked up a NIP T-bar, so I'll be focusing on that restoration sometime in the near future. :)

Just wanted to show pics of my Rc12LW

http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1427787380

actually in the begin it was an RC12L but since i broke the the plate under the pod and neaded an new t-bar i bought the lw parts instead i then broke the fron part of the chassi so ..............you gueesed it right i bought the lw chassi and the remaining parts to complete the transformation..

it actually had the stealth front and rear wheels and you could probably se that in the pic since the bearings is unflanged but since the rims had an inner sleeve i just pushed the bearings inside and i shal switch them to the flanged ones later.

Since i have plans to run it I bought 2 serpent link cars that i stole the rear axle, hubs and wheels from. i then gave the remains of the serpent cars to an friend that runs serpent 1/12 and now she just sit nicely and quiet and waits for the big day.

Just saw this thread and loving it. The very first proper radio control car I ever bought was an Associated RC12i. Never raced it but it was my introduction to RC and the car that got me hooked. I have since been hunting down RC12's on eBay to start a vintage collection or rather collection of meaningful rc cars to me in various scales that rekindle certain memories either because I had them when young... Or wanted them. What a great thread.
