Thought it was about time I shared a picture on here (also just figured out how to do that lol) this is my FK05 I have been talking about! Love this car. Got a new LED work light and was taking some pics so I wanted to post one! Really love this light, I can finally see what I'm doing 😂 I also just got and installed the spring steel axles in the rear so now fully steel axles all around! Next will be the shock rebuild... thanks again to LRPguy for the info! (Can't see your full username)

Hey rccartips.
I see you were at a purpose-built R.C. Car Track. I run the Fastest-Lap Challenge at/in a school yard (on the running track area). My 3 sons put down laps with their chassis and my daughters record the lap-times. It's free and fun. No real R.C. Car Track in-near N.Y. City for miles.

Keep on have'n fun.

Used to do speed runs in large cinema parking lots somewhere in NY back in the 90s and some in Queens off-roaders track.

Yeah I had to do that for the weight distribution! Thanks haha I picked up another roller last year for a parts car and the guy had the aluminum so I decided to throw them on!

@JuanA

Were you interested in a 414 chassis? I didn't hear anything from you in a while.

I don't know if I will ever drive this car. I have an empty spot on the shelf for it.

Hey rccartips.
I/we run the Fastest-Lap Challenge at the P.S. 296 school yard in Brooklyn, N.Y. City (Evergreen between Covert - Eldert).

Hey JoeyE; that's a nice-look'n Tamiya 414 chassis.

still like the originality though if memory serves correct it works well (only) on specific tracks

DJ Pro-Module Suspension Kit. I still have many NIB TRF414 parts like SSG chassis, regular bulk heads, motor mounts along with the light weight bulk heads and motor mount, etc...I can build a vintage chassis but this one I started a long time ago and just recently finished it. This one pictured has TRF419X shocks and shock towers, fully hop-up TA04 gear diff, TA04 spool, TRF415 steering bell cranks, TRF418 front suspension, front and rear DJCs, Custom Fibre-Lyte lower and top chassis and PSM hinge weights.

I currently use the same rear DJ suspension on my TA07
