Thanks Warren

Gotta keep working though! I did meet most of my goals for the weekend, I still am a couple of tenths per lap of where I want to be. I think a faster motor will be good for at least 2 tenths, which would have put me only 1 or 2 tenths behind Paul... Can't complain though. My main goal was to finish 2nd in Mod :P

Going to (re)build the shocks with RSD parts today and going to test them Wednesday.

A friend of me had some Vertical ball studs in spare (never used) because he switched cars, so he got me a nice deal on those. Going to mount them hopefully before Wednesday too.

I started with Cristian's posted mod setup today and did 2 things. I took off the swaybars, and went 16.5 front/13.5 rear. My 17.5 car had 5-6 seconds on 2nd place and had the other 5 lapped in today's main.... Also had fast lap I think. Traction was medium and the layout was pretty fast.

Oh, I had a front gear diff with 500k also. Throughout the day I played with 1mm shims on the link, but at the main they were just barely angled.

VERY pleased with it

I am still looking for an outdoor sugar water technical track 21.5/17.5 blink setup.I have RSD spring, pistons and shorter turn buckles. Should links be parallel to the arms at rest or ? and should I run shorter links front and back. Thanks Mike

I would start with Cuff's setup from Nats

Shoe, try the same set-up as I ran on carpet that is a page or two back.

Increase rear toe to 3 degrees, change shock oil to 550cst F and 450cst rear. Change Springs to 15.5 F and 13.5/14.5 R. The rest should be the same. If more steering is necessary use less ackerman (move the crank forward).

This is typically the set-up that I have been running at our local track, which is a small, sugar watered track.
