I used and tweaked the provided setups last year. I am just wanting to know if anyone has anything that has worked for them on their home tracks. I was just thinking about starting over and trying something new to begin this season. Who knows I may go back to what I ended with.

Thanks

I just bought a TC4 and didn't even get it yet but I am wondering what would be a good ballpark pinion to run with a 27T motor? Any other good upgrades to get (I will be racing on carpet)? Mine is the RTR version but I will be putting in all of my own electronics.

Would Jaco Double Pink Oranges (Front), and Jaco Double Pinks in the rear be good for carpet?

These are the foams I was looking at:

I would say 26 pinion, but you might want to temp it, to see if you can jump any higher.

Does anyone know a good TC4 setup for foam tires/carpet track?

What is a good bumper setup for a tc4. Is the RPM TC3 bumper compatible with the TC4. Who makes a good hard foam bumper?

How do I tell what angle castor bocks I have. Are they labled? I have a new set of 0 degrees and they look like the ones on the car.

Default One Way in the Front...

Hi All,

I have a TC4 and I've set it up for drifting. I know this is not the drifting forum, but I figured I'd throw this out there to see if anyone can help. I purchased a 1-way diff for the front of the car. I've installed it, but when I'm cornering, the rear end loops around on me. If I lock both diffs the car drifts fairly well, but the effect of a 1-way would definitely help me in tighter corners. My friends drift with a 1-way and it works fantastically. Any help would be good help. Maybe I have a defective 1-way..?

Having front springs that are too soft can make the rear of the car loop around, especially on-power out of a turn. You can try stiffening the springs and/or standing the front shocks up more.

I think the ones that aren't 0 degrees are marked 2 or 4 with a silver pen.

That makes sense, it just seems like the power to both wheels doesn't stay consistent. When I'm steering into a corner, it seems like the inside wheel stops getting power..? Could that be happening? If so, what might be causing that?

Anyway, I'll try the spring idea and see if that helps.

Thank you for your help!
