Also just to add to what wyd is saying. be sure to wear a mask when sanding your chassis. Graphite dust is terrible for your lungs. You may want to take it a step further when using q-tips and CA. the CA will melt the cotton slightly giving off some nasty fumes that can hurt your eyes, not to mention your respitory system.

Yes, the shocks are defintely Yokomos, they are easier to re-build

3Racing I believe make some nice shims, more solid than the AE team kit ones anyways. Can't recall if they are alu or CF now... but much harder than the ones in the team kit, less likely to distort.

i think it was pal speedway (or something) that amde the alu ones, 3racing ones are CF (come in black or SSG so look cool)
