I think I figured out how to get my TC4 to stop scrubbing so much speed in the corners. . .and with great results. I finished 2nd in Sportsman this evening, only a few seconds behind one of the normal "fast" guys. . .so Boomey=Happy!

anyway - I upped the springs all the way round to Red/Copper and upped the oil to 60wt.
I went to the -2 deg X Block
I got rid of the bump steer by placing 2 spacers on the ball-stud at the steering arm.
I made both upper-camber links parallel to the arms (or close to it) by using 3 spacers under the ball-stud.
I set 7mm droop at the front and 4 at the rear (not quite sure WHY. . .it's just where it works right now. . .didn't want to change it)
Oneway in the front, black roll-bar in the rear.
5mm RH all around.
-2 deg camber F/0 deg rear
0 deg caster blocks

Otherwise, it's stock.

and it was STUCK - but smooth through the corners. (SoCal, high-bite asphalt)

It's FUN making a car that people think sucks kick their arses!

Nope - just the one-way.

Doesn't the spool make it pushy on turn-in? I really like the way the car feels - it's darty yet controllable. It feels similar to my 10L2 but slower. . .

LZ - You got some nice people shots. Tony, Masami...I can only imagine your Courtney shots! Anyway, I think you could possibly be the first to put out tradable RC Racer cards! Just put a nice pic of the person on the front, and then their various wins on the back along with a pic of their usual paint scheme. That would be schweet.

I just ordered my TC4 BMI chassis this morning. Jason's a great guy to deal with...very helpful and informative. I'll post some pics next week when it's finished and keep you all informed on how well it performs at my local tracks.

Good shots, LZ. Looking closely at the 3rd one, I was wondering to myself what the heck I used to cut out those wheel wells???? Holy cow . Did I use any sort of sharp object or did I chew them out...

Sheesh.
