Stick with the TC4! Definitely one of the best cars on the track available.

Belt drive is soooo last decade lol

Don't worry about getting ripped off mate, the Kai kit is an aftermarket chassis modification you can buy seperately. Its are CF chassis with central brace. The TC4 kit is what you want

I have finally finished building the TC4. It's taken time for 2 reasons. Firstly lack of all the parts I wanted. Secondly modifying some of the bits and fitting takes time. It took a while for instance to build up both diff cases to run smooth and free, but it was time well spent.

Now I've just got to put the electrics in and start testing, but that will have to wait till next week aswe have a race meeting this weekend and I'm busy with other things.

Good luck with the Car Joe...

Just make sure not to try the same TC3 set ups on this car.... .... it likes to be a tad bit softer in its settings

So now that this setup is available to the general public, I'm curious to read what the people who've been complaining about the car on carpet will say about the car now. Looks like the car was working pretty good for Mike B.

Looks like he went way soft on the rear spring and made a very light front bar. Other than that it is really close to what I have been using.

Well, it never hurts to make them a bit MORE free(which I also spent a little time doing & it was DEFINITELY worth it)....

i didn't try my old tc3 setups but i compared my tc4 setups to them and to start with the setups were softer but now im running gold front/blue rear on rubber and yellow/yellow on foam, i will be trying white/yellow next time....crazy

thats with 4 degree castor blocks, #1 shim to give pro drive (so 3 deg castor) and #3 shim for antisquat on the rear.

Just downloaded Mike Bs set up. Interesting.

I see he has a spot of anti dive in front and kick up in the rear. Apart from that it all seems fairly normal. That's got to be good news.

Now does anyone have an asphalt set up that works ?

And he was certainly quick at the Snowbirds. In fact, if it were not for that twit Hudy, who knows !

Finally ran the TC4 this afternoon.

Impressive? That would be the biggest understatement.

It's about half a second a lap off the pace of the TC3 but Josh says it's alot easier to drive already. And that's with old tyres and gash cells !

I came back to the shop with a short list of things to do and will do them before trying it again.

Will keep you posted.
