Wayne asked if I post some pictures of my car. I just redid the electronics so the wires are a little messy, but I'll get them all hidden again.
Before I start, I gotta say, I've been driving this car HARD every weekend for almost three months now. I've never driven a chassis, or car, that is as much fun and easy to drive fast as this one. The car just wants to corner. Other people who I let drive it are amazed at the cornering ability and how easy it is to drive fast laps without even trying hard. You can cruise at warp speed all day and then bare down and drop a tenth or two off your lap time when you have to.
Enough rambling. Here's a shot of it from the top.

I love this view. Here's a view of the bottom of the motor. Hard to see the elevation in this view, but the motor is flush with the bottom of the rear pod. Wayne has designed the entire rear assembly to be lower. All the stand off's are something you can not buy or convert from another car. The whole thing is lower. Also you can remove the motor from the car even with the pinion gear on!!!!

One more for now. I forgot to mention, on the top view there is a lot of space to move the batteries forward and back for handling changes.
Now your thinking,....this car has everything. Wait, there's more, check out how the chassis is recessed so the tape doesn't rub!!! And all this for only ...., just kidding got carried away. It's just too cool.

nice pics. I like the gold pieces. John is right about how this car drives. my son is running a prototype car and has never raced 1/12th scale before. after a little learning time he has put it the A most every time he runs it. I can't wiat for our finished car to show up.

dakrat...
The recessed tape idea was the first thing I wanted to have knowing how all the other kits I've drove the tape rubs.... The whole conversion is from all the little things that I would do to other cars, then a few new ideas.... Overall I'm very happy with the end product!!
Tim...
I'll be waiting!!
