Thanks for the response! Awesome community here at rctech. I will be super careful for sure. Never had good luck with plastic shocks before, hoping this car breaks the trend. Other than that seems like a really solid build.
I’m planning on using it for asphalt club racing this season, any other essential upgrades I should be looking to get?

Hey guys, need some recommendations. Which car is will you go for if they cost the same, for low-medium grip asphalt?
1. S411 4.0 with 4.1 front spool and outdrives
2. S411 4.1 with active rear toe system
Appreciate any help!

Greetings Serpent runners...I have been looking for a new onroad chassis as Ive felt the siren song of onroad and with Associated out of the business (focusing solely on offroad), I was looking at some potential chassis and I was rather intrigued by the Serpent S411 RTR (the price point certainly helped). Any thoughts on what I should know?

I bought it before I tried racing. I figured it was time to try it.
I did try it few weeks ago on carpet. Way too much for track this small.

Is this Serpent own design, or is it yet another xray clone ?, if it is indeed a clone, what model of xray can i use parts from ??
