thanx, pretty much all of the local guys run TC so if its not too much trouble go ahead and bring it, if enough show up i will run it but it will be open tire/power. from experence a 4.5 is the standard but i have won most of the TC events at this track with a 13.5 turbo setup.

Photobucket and the likes are all crap on mobile!!! Forget about their mobile apps... To get an idea of how the chassis looks like go to youtube and type in: nikko f1! It is a very realistic chassis !!!

i dont intend on selling them, if it all works as planned i can custom build one but i will never have them "on the shelf". i hope to get this thing to be at least a second quicker than my 104 and that would put faster than all but a few of the local TC's. its going to have a complete under tray, functioning diffuser and pretty much every trick i can get into it!!
electronics are in and the Maclaren body is done its gorgeous!!

all that is left is wheel hexes, reciever, servo and turnbuckles!! and i still need to make the upper camber link mount, should be able to shake it down thursday!

Marcus, I have to ask why the battery is lying on it's side?; wouldn't it be much better to have it lie flat on the chassis so as to keep the cg low?

well first off it wont fit! and secondly the battery is no taller than the motor and the entire battery only weighs 120g! the difference between the two is no more than the weight of the top deck and shock on a normal setup. once i get it on the scales i will get it perfectly balanced. one thing to note is that the motor and battery are lower than the motor and battery on the 104 so the CG should be very good!

Understood about the battery, thanks for explaining. Can't wait to see the finished project and see how it runs!
