Default What do people do between races ?

Hello,
I have been asking myself this question, what do people mostly do between races ?
I see them ( people at my track or at important event such as IFMAR ISTC ..... ) bent on their cars with wrench and stuff, but when you ask them, they say " i havent changed my setup much " . If they haven't changded it, what do they do for 40 min ?
Thanks

In between heats I either work on the car to get ready for the next heat and/or socialize.

In between races I usually go home and to work the next day.

"i havent changed my setup much" is hilarious to me.

I've heard it so many times yet when the changes are listed, its HUGE to change the way their car drives.

If time allows between heats and the mains I will do a full teardown... inspection and reassembly... If I cant do a full teardown I will atleast check the diffs, shocks, gear mesh etc. In between race weekends I definately do a full teardown and replacement of all bearings, rebuild the shock and diffs and replace any worn parts.....

First I turn marshall. Then I go to my pit table and try and figure out what caused me to not finish the race

I first marshal then I put my car on the charger "Because changing the battery in a B44 sux" then I go over every inch of my car and make sure every screw is tight,Change tires then I go race and do the same thing.

Check this out

Also check for loose wheel nuts and screws around the car, clean the tires & binding in suspension from bent hinge pins if you had any crashes

I was bored one night, and made it in a rush
