Boy you get around Ian!,.. after all this time I never thought to do a search for bikes on here before and look what I found, some 1/5th bike threads!, I've been a member of this forum for a while and even started a 1/5 bike thread for 'bikes in Brisbane' in the 'Australian Racing forum' on here before...!

Hey, MugRacer,.. are you up the Sunshine Coast!? We, (4 of us here in Bris) should get together and maybe do some laps here at Brendale or up your way some time?.. I'd love to see these bikes take off over here in OZ! .. (I can't see why they have'nt allready! )..

BTW,.. here's my homepage ..! Enjoy the vids, There's some nitro stuff, brushless stuff, and also some wheelie vids too..!

Default Kyosho 1/8 Electronics

Hi

Hope somebody can help.

If i get the 1/8th Kyosho, is it possible to put in a MC330R ESC and a sanwa 211 rx. Or must i just use the MCR-2MS rx/esc into 1 system?

Thanks

The Futaba MCR system was made specifically for the Kyosho bike but you don't have to use it. You can use any receiver, servo, or ESC as long as it fits. I use the Novak Spy ESC, HS-81 servo, and Novak XXL receiver (mounted under the rear tail).

Hi -

I may be getting a TT electric and have this question - is it possible to use side by side packs like in performance sedan in this bike? Is there any design restriction that would prevent this from working?

Thanks in advance for your help...

the motorcycles are very cool, does kyosho still make the hang-ons or did they stop, on tower they are "discontinued" and also where could I get them. Also could I run on carpet?

Yep,.. it's about 2mm thick and I cut out the holes with a hole-saw cutter the same size as the cells, then mounted to the cross bars making room for the motor etc.. Pretty simple mod to do at home...

My HOR is currently in pieces... I'm in the process of getting my FM1E up and running again.

I was thinking about bumping this thread back up.

A friend of mine have the thunder tiger 1/5 nitro bike and he needs some advice about it. Hopefully I can get some help here

He's having problem getting the fuel to flow into the carb from the tank to start the engine. Had to manually inject some into the carb to start the engine. Another area is that the bike wobbles badly coming out of the corners. Any ideas on solving the problems?

Thanks!
