R/C Motorcycles!

I know you guys have these in your closets!!

I just got mine the other week from a ebay seller in hong kong (where they are still available and have a strong following!)

It's a 1/8th scale kyosho "hangin on rider" the rider actually leans with the bike!

Jarrod, have you seen the stuff available for the 1/5th scale bikes?? I have the Thunder Tiger Ducati and it's a riot. Much easier to drive then the Kyosho but still very different from touring cars. You can't drive these on small, technical tracks. Definitely an advantage with the 1/8 scale. I'm running a monster in mine right now but with the aluminum frame it's just to heavy to get the front tire off the ground easily. I changed gearing and that did it but had no top end. A carbon frame and delrin wheels is in the future. I think you'll see more of these in the near future.

There is no 1/8th kyosho nitro bike. people have made them by custom fabrication, and it requires plenty of time, skill, and money.

the 1/5th bikes come in nitro..

Crazy Nut Racing makes parts for the 1/5th bikes (realistic front disc brakes!! too cool!)

I'd love to see a 1/5th bike with say, a .12 rody in it!!

i have been wanting to get down with the bikes. i used to have one from... royal i think it was. it wasnt very upgrade friendly. can we get a picture of the rider gettin' his lean on?

There will be a review of the Nuova Faor 1/5 bike in an upcoming XRC. We actually drove one around yesterday for the first time, it's pretty slick.

Man you guys are slow on the acceleration!!!!

Jplione, I got one, in fact been trying to make if faster. Dude, the bike is slow, no doubt about it. However you need to hook up with a modified micro motor and a NiMH battery pack to make it scream! I currently use the Team Orion 1200 mah NiMH pack. I need a better motor cause after 15 min ( yes 15 minutes ) of run time, the motor I have gets hot! Besides, it is a kit supplied motor. That is if you don't get bored first.

You have to totaly retrain you brain on how to pilot one of these; you can slow down too much, and too fast will flip the bike! But it is cool to see it run and the rider leans in for a wide, high-speed turn. I got it to where I can scrape the support rail when cornering at high speeds. Think it is time to take them off........:D

Oh, here is a pic.......
