Something else I forgot to mention. With the offset bulkhead you have to remove some material from the top deck for it to clear.

Well actually you do need longer turnbuckles, but yes that is the only thing you will need besides the topdeck. I assume the part number is different because it is a different top deck.

just picked up a carpet spec version and have some questions...
what are the must have parts for this car on carpet?
it looks like most of the corally drivers are using the 4mm chassis, new short arms, the lowered roll center mounts and the long extended shock mounts. did i miss anything?
do i really need the 4mm chassis if i have the 3.4mm top deck? i would think the parts to have would be the short arms, lowered roll center mounts and the long ext. shock mounts.
are most running the new motor mount which brings the motor closer to center?

the CS kit is pretty good right out of the box. Certinly the Ultra Low RC blocks, Lowered front shock tower, and the new arms do not need the extentions.
As far as the 4mm chassis, we are getting away from it. I can't speak for the new motor mount as I have never tried it.

I finally got a chance to run the RDX I bought. I was very impressed with the car. It was so quiet, and I used Brian McGreevy's set up under it and the car worked so nice.
The only thing I had trouble with is I lost the screw that holds the low blocks in. What are you guys using for loctite to hold that kind of stuff in?

BTW, I just got a report from Vegas. It seems the Xray guys are going back to the standard T2 chassis instead of the new solid one. Just another tidbit on "flex is good".
