what does besides offset the motor whats the advantage of the offset motor?? sorry for the ? but new to the car

Hang on, if you changed the arms and the amount changed...the arms are not the same, or the inserts.

If you had changed the arms and NOTHING had changed, that would suggest the other things, but try new inserts, and new arms.

No problem, this was discussed a few pages back, but to summarise, it moves the motor towards the centre of the car. Aparantly this helps the car transition quicker.

Yes I can attest to this, at the carpet nats one of my cars had the normal motor deal, the other the new motor deal, other than that setup identical.

On another note, because of my Corally ..with setup help from you guys's here on the boards and Aaron Young out at the Nats.. I can say I'm the 3rd fastest old guy in the nation ...man if I wasn't married wouldn't that be a chick magnet!!

the next batch of new bulkheads will be about 2 more weeks before being available...they are being machined now
