Electro......... I posted that it was indeed 4 deg blocks after talking with Rob about it.

Cuffs..... what pistons did you have in that setup. We have an updated Setup Sheet on the website with spaces for different things now.

I would like to Congratulate Ben Griffin for WINNING stock touring car at Race 1 of the Florida State Series. This was held this past weekend at Speedline Hobbies in Tampa. Which happens to be the site of the 2005 ROAR Asphalt Nationals.

Expect to see a lot of track time at this place between now and October.

Default Parma Alfa

Hey all,

Are you mounting the Parma Alfa pretty much centered up in the wheel well-or back or forward?
If back or forwardhow much?

Thanks,
Ray

Well.......... I would mount it in the center of the front wheel if i could get it straight. Lately all the bodies have been back mounted. With the front end being shorter.

Default RDX and spares

I have been looking at the RDX and wanted to know if I should wait for the carpet kit to come out or just bite the bullet and get one now?
Also, what spares or hopups would be suggested to run carpet foams and then outdoor with rubber tires?

Lastly, the best place to purchase the car?

Thanks, Mike

Mike-well-if my digging aroound for info is correct:

UK kit 2.9 chassis and front diff and 4 caster blocks

US kit 2.9 chassis and front one-way and 2 caster blocks.

Carpet edition kit 3.5 chassis and frnt diff and 4 caster blocks.

Sounds like anyone of the above (US and UK kits sounds a little better) will work for you because your gonna be buying a diff or a one-way and different caster block for tuning options anyways. I bought the US kit today and ordered the 75% graphite arms and 4 degree caster blocks, 0.5 and 1mm shims for toe in and arm sweep and narrow rear hexes. I also ordered the 1.3mm shock pistons and the hard spring set (6-pairs frm 26 to 42 lbs I think). Remember-you need to order dfferent bearing cups and bearings to switch from the one-way to the Diff. They have different size outdrives I gather.

You can buy the US and UK spec kits in the USA, but the Carpet edition is still a couple weeks out I hear.

Superior Hobbies is the Corally Importer so they are your first bet. But I thnk someone told me that you can get them from Stormer as well?

Ray

Ray,

I appreciate all of the info...now what about the part #'s....J/K

You know looking at the pictures of the new Xray FK05 it looks very similar to the RDX, but I wonder if it performs as well.

Thanks again, Mike
