anything can cause these cars to be loose, what are you using for difflube when you build ur diffs and how much are you using?

your diffs prolly feel alittle slow and sluggish then, they will break in nice and should come around after about a full race day, i only put lube on my diff rings, cause i find even that can be too much sometimes

that is probably your front cvd's making the noise, did you make sure they were able to move in full rotation before you put them on the car?

Ive got a bit of a problem with my RDX and its Pisssing me off
I have a striped spur gear and i need to change it....the only problem is that the screw that holds the assembly is rounded off and you cannot get no grip what so ever. I need to get this sorted soon, has any one got any ideas on how i can get my spur out and get this stupid rounded screw out.
P.S what spur gears will fit the RDX without buying/doing and mods

Try some anti-squat next chance you get or stiffer spring in rear. Also, try different ackermann positions. I generally run the outside hole on rack and steering knuckle.

Further to the problem of diffs. loosening off..........
I've been sitting here thinking never had that happen - hah.
Last couple of race days my rear diff comes loose!! On close inspection I think that the plasticky lock nut is not seated fully in the outdrive, so while running if it moves a smidgin and hey presto loose diff. Something to check.
Cheers
Peter
