you drill holes slightly higher up than the stock holes where they mount to the bulkhead. The distance between the orig hole and new hole is abotu the same distance between the upper row of camber link holes to the bottom row. This way when you lower it and use the top row of links the position is similar to that of using the bottom row on the standard tower. you have to trim a little bit off the bottom of the shock tower as well. Now just flip it around so the counter sunk parts are facing the bulkhead and just use button head screws to fasten it to the bulkhead.

T1Raycer. Thanks. As soon as I can save up enough money to buy X-Ray parts, I'll try that out. I had the Fk05 for about a month. This car suits me alot better, and I didn't have to mortgage my house for springs and sway bars. Thanks again for the tip.

Hi, I built and raced my RDX just this past weekend. I was really impressed by it. It performed really well. One thing I noticed about the car, though, was an excessive amount of play in the front chubs and rear hubs. I'm not sure how that affected my handling but I'm gonna go shimmin' tonight. I was just curious if anyone else had that problem and if shimming helped performance?

As with any car you should shim everything to be as tight as posible with out binding. Yes it will always improve handling. A car with alot of slop will wonder and never track straight plus the car isnt as consistant.

yea i had similar problems when using the aluminum c-hub and the aluminum steering blocks. i went to the plasic steering blocks and that tighten things up very nicely. Even tho you want to get most slop out sometimes its good to have some in the car, it makes it feel smoother going around the track.
