So I want to switch to using the separate suspension blocks on my 417 but I don't see either on the Tamiya site or the TQ racing site any references to what the toe angle differences are between say the 1A-1XA and the 1B-1XB? Does anyone have a link to a chart or a page that gives these angles? Also the one piece block the car came with is 1C so I'm assuming if I wanted the same toe angle I would buy the 1C-1XC separate mounts?
If I wanted to switch to an aluminum servo horn which is the best to use on the 417? I have a Savox SC-1258TG servo installed.
Thx, Jeff

can the split blocks give different toe by changing the order?i mean...1b-xb or xb-1b..blocks are assymetric if i am correct. Per manual "x" side is closer to the edge...which gave B toe (0degree)...what if i change it?thx

As to a servo horn Tamiya make a nice blue alloy horn. For the Savox you need the futaba horn.

The split blocks are reversible. So a 1a -1xa set is able to give the same effect as a 1A block or if you swap them around (the left with the right, same orientation) it will then be a 1XA equivalent.

Also I mainly run on a medium grip carpet track, should I only run split blocks in the front or also in the rear?

XA-X-A = 1 Degree
X-A = 0.5 Degree
XA-X = 0.5 Degree
Each size up is 0.5 degree.

Personally, I think it will make a difference as the leverage point is a bit shorter - ie where the set screw clamps down onto the swaybar.
