The TRF one (42186) is for buggy adjusters.
The 53858 is for your TC adjusters.

Thanks guys. Definately an adjuster tool in my next shopping cart. It's going to save lots of swearing at the kitchen table.

Somebody knows if the trf 501X aereation cups that are used in the new 417v5's shocks fit on the old shock body?

my friend has the 417x and it keeps chewing the gears in the geardiff any fix to this???

Maybe the case is warped. Maybe he should just buy a new diff.

The gears break when the backlash is set wrong or when the diff shims cone. Tamiya makes steel gears now and TDX make 0.3mm shims with a larger outer diameter than the stock shims. This will fix his diff.
