hi guys, i have a lil problem with the trf v2 gear diff. Even though i read alot sayin it wont leak, mine still does! I build it as per kiyo's recommendation at titc and filled with the stock 900 oil. Oil seems to leak a lil frm the side of the gear, not the oring. i have a feeling the gasket dont seems to seal the oil good enough. Any solutions?

Hi guys, i need help...
I just broke my 417x lower deck ,
I know that there are a lot of chassis for 417:
Smokem
Exotek hard and soft
Cso CNC 2.5mm
Tamiya 417 and 417x
What do you suggest?
I was thinking to get the Cso 2,5 mm but i didn't find any comments on internet..

Kyosho released their metal gears. I'm not sure what the benefit of them is over the standard plastic, but seems to be out there as an option now for some brands.

This leak is really anoying; it messes up the lap times a lot. I wish they could make a V3.

WOW, amazing. I put the 417x (my first Tamiya) on the track to race last night and it was great. Started off kit setup including supplied oils but Blue springs all round. Changed to Yellow rear, removed the joining plate from under the motor mount and went Kyo 2000wt in the diff. Then the car was amazing, still broke lose a little on power at exit of the hairpins, but all-in-all was a pleasure to drive and showed in my results.
