Yes I am, I've always wanted a Tamiya TRF on-road car but the LHS stocked Schuey at a competitive price. Recently they have consistently been out of stock of the parts I've needed so I took that as time to jump ship.
Thanks, I'll start with Jilles.

Hey guys i have a slight issue. I will be using a 416we for vta, so my problem is that when i put on the front wheels they rub the inside of the steering knuckle, also when at full steering lock it rubs the bottom shock eylet.. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix.. Thanks for any tips.

Same problem on my 416, rather than using the 4mm hub, i used some 6mm ones from a tt01 drifter had laying about, solved the problem

easy fix- just space out the wheel. this should fix yoiu issue. If it still hits your shocks, most remotes have endpoint/steering throw adjustments. Find this setting and adjust your steering. Make sure your Dual Rate is set at 100%

Wouldn't spacing out the wheels effect the handling of the car??

drive the 416 then, i never heard about rear grip problems with the 416 becuase its motor is more rearwards, giving a little rear weight bias. the 417 to me is fo expert drivers, it has more front weight becuase the motor is more forward. so thats why you are facing oversteer. Most top level drivers like oversteer and they can drive such a car. but for mere mortals, i prefer the rear end sticking silly.

I run a 415 in VTA and yes I run 5mm hex and a 1mm spacer so the wheel doesn't touch on the front.
