Somebody can tell me if metallic central pulley from TRF417 can be installed in TRF416X? . I am having a lot of problems with rear belts and Gear diff ver 2 installed in my 416X.

Thanks a lot, I have to try this. Two broken belts with Tamiya 417 ver 2 inside my 416X in two races...
And yes rear belts are the same for 416X and 417 (54207)

@Rosokam....Is the belt tension ok??
I run the TRF416X lipo also with the VII spec gear diff but havent stripped or broken a rear belt in a whole season.
The front belt should be a bit tighter then the rear so the car want's to pull a bit.
Check if the gear adaptor is right in the middle as if not the adaptor can damage the belt.
Same with the gear diff.

I'm back!
Hey gang, I just spent the week in Thailand pitting next to the TRF team. I was having heaps of trouble getting my Kyosho to work in the high grip, so the night before qualifying I bought a 417X and built it for the next day
I got heaps of tips from those guys which I'll share when I have more time, and I have the setup they were using which i will post as well - nothing drastic really, just minor tweaks to the base setup.
Their cars were pretty standard too, just running the new double jointed front unis and metal spool outdrives
