Sounds like the new gear diff still needs some work. Jilles had one cost him the final run and overall win at ETS this weekend.

Fitting a new gear diff to his car Groskamp, who is widely respected as one of the hardest working drivers in the sport, said they knew the shimming of the gear diff is vital but having fitted a new one for the last run he said they still have find more accuracy.

No problem, I'm a french, you can MP me if you speak french.

I'll say silver HPI spring if you find them, or stock spring, good overall, with 35 Losi, or 35 asso, or 450 xray oil.

Not yet. I'll give you a deal on an autographed 416, though. You're obviously my biggest nut-hugging fan.

Jilles said that incorrect shimming cause the gear diff to fail.

Dear customer,

We no longer carry Tamiya 417 TA-42184 because a new version is expecting to release soon. We will carry the new version when it is available.
Please let me know if you have any inquiry. Thank you

Same car only difference is this kit comes with a rear gear diff instead of a ball diff.

I didn't hear of any failures for Reinhard or Wilck at the Reedy, Groskamp has already posted that he shimmed the diff incorrectly at the ETS which caused the failure.

He also told us (I was there this weekend) that soon there will be a new gear from Tamiya.... Also soon there will be Roche spool-outdrives.
