Thanks, I didn't realize they were different. I've been out of it for a little while and to be honest all the choices are a bit confusing...I was happy when it was just trf shocks. I guess I'm a bit out of the loop now with the other options.

They definitely need a version 2! You are also right, it is a bit confusing.

I run the standard graphite towers on the car front and rear. On the front I'm running the m chassis trf dampers. On the rear I am running the TC TRF damper with the Pro longer piston. The reason is because I am using the R spec lower arm mount, which lowers the mount position another mm. With the M chassis dampers, I was having a hard time getting to 4 mm rear ride height. Thats why I never bothered to use the TRF TC mounts.

Do you have thoughts on the aluminum motor mount and the gearbox plate that goes on the opposite side as well?

Looks like it would eliminate or reduce/dissipate some heat.

I'm deciding what hop ups I gotta buy...(lol). I got a kick out of a box stock M06 after having driven a M03M for quite a while.

Does anybody know the ball diameter on this set, will it fit the balls on the rear suspension axle upgrade (standard on the Pro cars)?

Says they are a direct replacement...I assume they fit the stock axels...the reviews on your link make me think that.

So switching my brain to ceramic bearings...I've used acer with great success, obviously they are pricey...have heard good things about Boca..does anyone have other recommendations for ceramic (fast) bearings.

Well I ran my M06 at a local inter club championship and man this thing is planted. So fast off the line compared to my M05 v2. I have got one slight problem with the car stuttering when turning. Initially I thought the wheels were rubbing on the front hubs when turning so changed to thicker hexes. This didn't cure the fault so it looks like an electrics problem, the motor stalls when turning. I'm going to change my servo for a less powerful one and use a booster and see it that cures it. Won all 3 qualifiers and both finals although I did use the M05 v2 for the last final.

Got my shock towers, aluminum bits (thanks Raman), TRF shocks, titanium screws...waiting on bearings to arrive....then time for fun with my M06L VW super beetle!

Yesterday, after wrecking my shocks and body some time ago, I decided to rebuild the car. Subtle difference:

I also went for the Beetle body, should be deliverd soon. Awaiting new ESC (old one is now in my son's M-01) and a new set of 50746 shocks, as I busted one. I considered TRF ones, but this is just a fun car and the real money is spent on my Cup racer TT-01.
