A big change to the chassis was made with the TC6.2 which somebody also allready mentioned.

I am need new shock bladders for my 6.1wc. The stock ones the manual show (ASC31324) are discontinued. Will the TC7 rebuild kit (ASC31693) work?

Get the RSD bladders... they're better than the Associated ones to begin with.

I have a TC6.1 and one of the inner hinge pins is bent. Can't find any online. Anyone know of a different brand that will work?

The cheapest solution: buy a 3mm drill rod (also called O1 tool steel) at McMaster-Carr. They're usually 3 feet long, so you can make many.

Anyone know of a replacement for the 1 mm ballstud washers, they came in this set ASC31286. The part number is discontinued. What is a similar replacement.

Thank you

Any 1mm shim will do, as long as the internal diameter is roughly 3mm.

Default Shock caps

I been driving my tc 6.1 quite a bit lately with the kids, me and my son had a little incident and let say my right front shock cap got the worst of it, the cap completely snap of the shock. I have been looking for replacement caps and have not found any (asc31329), are shock caps interchangeable between brands? For example can I take an x-rays or a tamiya trf shock cap and install it?
any info greatly appreciated

I've used yokomo caps on ae shocks so not necessarily a stretch. I'll look around and see if I have anything that will work but I can tell you you're looking for small bore caps. That means the new bigger shock body caps are almost certainly not going to work.

thanks for the info, I just so happened to have found a hobby shop online that had 1 set in stock. The set comes with 4. Hopefully it was just a one time incident as it was hard to find these caps. I wanted to buy multiples but they only had 1 in stock. They were cheap as well, $1.35, to bad shipping was 9 bucks lol
