Now as promised the pictures of my new Tamiya E30 Schnitzer DTM body on a TC6.1WC chassis (got so high from its look, that I checked for 1:1 E30 M3 in the market xD ):

What an awesome car the Group A BMW M3 was, one of my favourites! Looks great just need some BBS style wheels now. Tamiyas other Group A cars the Mercedes-Benz 190 Evo II and Nissan Skyline GTR (R32) would look great racing with this.

Hey guys

Another quick question do the cso racing servo mount fit the tc6.1 with drilling more holes to the chassis ??

You will have to drill an extra hole in the chassis for the CSO mount made for Tamiya. If I had more of my mounts, There will be no need to drill.

By the way, if anyone is interested in purchasing any of the option parts I have been making or planned to make, I have changed jobs and no longer have access to a machine shop for my own fun. I do hope to get something going in the near future but I don't have anything solid yet.

Hi, has anyone tried using the T.O.P Photon/EX spool steel or aluminum outdrives to replace the stock plastic outdrives on the TC6.1?

Nah. I like the plastic outdrives and blades. They absorb a lot of the impact, in crashes, saving the universals, caster blocks and steering knuckles. They're in-expensive to replace, too! I'm sticking with the plastics!;)

Thanks...I really wanted to know if they fit the TC6.1 though.

set up advice

Can anyone suggest suspension settings that would give maximum lateral grip with the 6.1?

Chris, I would try:
Arm mount #0
Arm mount position A

Does anyone know of any available floating servo mounts for the TC6.1? I love the YoDog mount on my TC6, but they're no longer available. :(

silencery 09-06-2013 04:37 PM

Team Grid: http://www.gridrc.com/category/1-10-...-Touring-Car-3

I don't know if it requires new holes to be drilled however.

silencery 09-06-2013 04:39 PM

Oh, I should also mention Reflex Racing makes one, but that will definitely require drilling the chassis unless you're already running their RSD6.2 EVO conversion kit.
