YoDog do you have you setup posted somewhere? If not can you post it here?
Also when can I send you money for a motor mount and servo mount?

If you're worried about scarches, try Associated chassis protector sheets:

Buddy, you are getting your chassis from the wrong place. Most places online are between $55 and $65 bucks. I got mine from TQ down in Chino for $56.00 besides, just because it don't look good, don't mean it don't work good.:nod::nod: Scratches and chips are inevitable in parking lot racing so keep a spare in the box for an eventual refresh and beat the crap out of the race chassis. You gotta try my setup one of these days... I haven't changed a thing except tires since The beginning of June. It works good when it's hot and just gets better as the evening goes on.

I think you got them confused. The 6 is a reflex car, the new one is the worlds. I do still keep the stock tc6 chassis in hand.

I think I'm gonna go straight to your sheet instead of the one brian posted.

I'm not worry about scratches more than gauges in the rear of chassis. When we first started I keep seeing people with broken rears leaving only one screw holding the rear bulkhead. I do have jconcepts sheets just haven't had time to put them on yet. Our track is super bumpy. So bumpy that last week I hit the dip at full throttle in the sweeper and I did 3 rolls in the air before I hit the ground.

Put some droop and shock travel and you wont even notice those bumps!!!

Yeah I'm gonna have nick double check it on sat with his fancy hudy station. I'm gonna try and be there early as well to practice and help out too.

Its only going to be 110* that day. That asphalt is gonna be good for cooking eggs

I read a page back you had a ride height of 8mm that eleminate all droop and shock travel down.. Also limits your weight transfer when you go into a corner. That alone will make your car jump when ever you hit a ripple in the track.

That was my tc6 gt3!!!! That was also like a month ago when nick messed with it prior to the enduro. He left it at 5.8 I think, but my new one the worlds was at 6mm front and back with 5 droop. My gt3 glides through the bumps where as the gt2 gets mad.

Servo positioning

I have been using YoDog's servo mount on my TC6.1 for a while now with a Futaba BLS551 on it. I was wondering what would happen if spaced the servo forward so that the linnkage between the arm and bellcrank are not swept back as much. I was looking at other steering systems and just noticed that a lot of them place the servo farther forward.

Has anybody esle try this? Is their a benefit to this or not? I'm going to race this Wednesday night and try it out.

vivo quevas 07-23-2013 10:03 AM

I use a 3mm spacer on the arm to decrease the angle.
