should i sand the outdrives or attempt to bend them open a little?

my stock outdrives are measuring .143 and the type r outdrives are .137-.139

and believe it or not, that take the fitment from perfect, to binding up tight..

Nick, Try to get your diff to me so I can machine the outdrives to the right size. I had to do it to mine also. don't try to bend anything.

I would get the newer ones (as posted above) that have black internal gears and darker outdrives. They feel smoother than the older versions in my opinion!

Olly all blinking rc extras are expensive here and if you
shop abroad (china, usa) you get hit with an import
tax before they will deliver.
My TC6 was £350 iv'e seen them for the same in DOLLARS
thats why its good to ask i will hunt around for the new version.
Just paid £26.85 sorex 28's on my way home from work.!!!!!!!!

It depends what you want to race, but any ROAR approved bodies are good, Mazda 6 ( or speed 6) LTC etc...
