Those RSD springs look good also.I will be trying them soon.

Just put some on my car along with the RSD pistons. Like butter. The coils on the Associated springs weren't very consistent in their wrap and spacing and for the price the RSD springs look much higher quality.

Hey guys,
just in case no one has mentioned it. There were questions as to what other kit springs will fit on the TC6. I found that the TM E4 springs are a direct fit and K Factory makes a really sweet set that are very precise with many compression rates.
Had them left over from my E4 cars and gave them a try. PREFECT fit!!

Just thought I'd share that...

xray, Hpi spring will fit, too. ;)

The XRAY springs are a little big in diameter and don't fit great, much like the Yokomos...

Stock pistons

Does anyone know what stock kit pistons are the closest to the losi #57 pistons or the Herbert 1,1,1.5 pistons he is running?

The Reflex Racing RSD pistons are 1,1,1.5.;) They are a direct fit for the TC6.

So none of the kit pistons would be similar?

big al 07-22-2011 05:06 PM

I believe the no.3's are closest.

Tire storage

I know not the exact right thread but this is the onroad thread I hang out in

What are you guys doing once you are done racing and packing up your tires? How do you store them? I just take them off my car, throw them in a box and move go home. That has got to be horrible for the life of the tires.

Thanks TC6 family.:D

Goin2dirt, I leave my tires on the car

If I'm driving far, I put them in a ziplock so the I don't get a paragon high.

If you race very infrequently it might be a good idea to bag the tires. If you run a regular schedule the tires will be worn out or damaged before you ever have to worry about time related deterioration.

I clean with buggy grip, let them dry.....wipe them with WD40 and wrap them in SaranWrap. Tedious, but its my method of madness.
