Both the Yokomo and the Spec-r (for Yokomo) fit the TC6 with a little bit of modifications. Nothing is a direct fit just yet. Sounds like AE is working on something...

What do you need to modify?

Kim, i ordered my car too!
From what I gathered, we need to enlarge the inner diameter of the out drives a little to accommodate the larger AE shaft ends. I can turn them on our lathe and make them really smooth. My question is where can we find the diff on short notice???

If you find it, order one for me and I'll pay you next weekend.

If you'll be at Reedy I'll make sure you get a set. PM me info on where someone can reach you there and we'll go from there. Only hitch is to leave feedback here so we can see how testing went. I'll post pics after I fit up.

I want one too! :batman: I'll be running Mod at the Reedy without many laps on the car, and will need all the help I can get!

Lex was looking pretty good with his! After talking with him on Saturday, I think he sold us on the idea of picking up the kit.

Love the open-ended ballcups....the way the swaybars mount up....narrow chassis....the plastics (seems pretty durable)....the battery mount....shocks build up decent....the steering rack....carbide diff balls....ti-buckles...the car as a whole.

My chassis is a tad tweaked w/the bulkheads and top deck on but I can live with that (I hope:lol:). My biggest gripe is the anodizing; God awful on my shock bodies and a couple of bulkhead pieces. The car isn't as polished as my Yokes, Tamiyas, or Schuies were but its all good.

I have a few of the PDub Schuie bumpers and modded one. Turned out niiice!!! Overall....can't wait to get a few racedays in:nod::nod::tire:

did you put the stainless steel screws kit?

i m considering to buy that one or the alu anodized blue one, could someone tell me which would be better and why?

for sure alu is a loss of weight, but i am not sure we need it on this car, which is often under the legal weight

btw here are the different kits
any suggestion?

Try taking out the rear-most motor mount screw (that attaches to the left rear bulkhead). I haven't gone and measured why, but for some reason, that eliminates the tweak.
