Its okie. Forget it man. This is a forum for people to share.
Why should everyone be so mad at some guys telling other people how good their car is? Even you seem to say your Pro4 works wonder for you one time or another.

So come on, lets make some constructive comments here and forget those flaming intention.

R-minus aka Power Poles bro...

I use those on my 414. Easy to use but a bit on a pain to solder onto the battery

Going from a TC3 to an Xray is a big dfference in performance. Drive a Pro 4, I'm sure you'll be impressed! The only similarities btwn the TC3 and Pro 4 is the drivetrain & acceleration, it stops there.

Maybe, If you said: a "TRF 414 MII", AWOLsoldier would not have made his comment. Ya' think? The "TRF 414M" is an ancient car.

My Pro 4 ROCKS! ALL the time. It's just, that I get a lot of radio hits at my local track. Speaking of which... Where is the "thread" on radio hits? I need help, BAD!!!
I've given constructive comments from the beginning. We just got off track, for some reason.

Default pro 4

dude my pro 4 is da bomb! it seems like it is hard to get hoocked up at first and you might need to get rid of the one-way but when it is working it is working, i had the xray before i had the pro 4 and before i ran shumacher and i didnt really enjoy it, i couldnt get it set -up or it would break i would go with pro 4!!! if you want the good stuff...

No i would have said the same thing. When he says the quality of the 414 is better than the xray AND the pro 4? I just can't believe that. The pro 4 is top notch and we all know the xray is as well. The tamiya kits are also well built. Quality isn't an issue here, it's fanboy vs. fanboy.

Hi,

I run a Pro4 and a Factory kit.

the X ray is working well with modified motors, buth isn't accelerating as well as the Pro 4.

The Pro 4 is accelerating extremely fast, but isn't going well for me with modified motors.

So, the decision you will have to make first is wheter you want to race modifeid, or special (19T).

When racing 19T I wouldn't take any ather car as the Pro 4!
For modifeid X-ray is working well, buth the Pro 4 is also going well.

As for the quality of the cars, they are both great!
Also the Pro 4 is very nice done by HPI!

I hope this can help you.

If, you're running the stock springs(as seen in your pic), to run mod, you should try using stiffer springs. The car should handle much better.
