Dude, buy a body that you like the look of. That is one of the reasons we started this thing in the first place. I have spent a lot of time at the race track thinking to myself, "That thing looks f*****g sweet going around the track..."
Beyond that, bodies are more or less disposable. If you get six months out of a body, you are a big winner. In fact, buy a couple different ones and see which you like the best.

Bodies are disposable, and depending on what happens on race day, might be the first time out with a freshly painted body, and it ends up being toast because someone decided it was a good idea to stop at the end of the straight and not say anything...
The advise is sound. Run what you like until you learn the ropes and the competitive edge gets the better of you and then go for the best body. They don't last as long as you might think.

So MikeR who possibly sells one of the best handling USGT bodies, advises a sportsman to not be concerned about bodies (eg don’t buy my product) and focus on improving real issues, such as setting up, driving skills
The result is the sportsman drivers feeling are hurt.
Ok, now I have truly seen it all.
MikeR wiser advice has never been given on this forum! Bravo 👏

Many different (often regional) race series with their own rulesets. Often it's fixed timing 17.5T spec motors (on blinky ESCs), spec tires (not the USGT ones) and fixed max. gearing with GT bodies on top.
to test different bodies, USGT or TC, It's fun to see how each body performs

you race in the Bay area so chances are you know who I am and if you have been around Norcal for a while you might have seen Mike there once. I’m not here to go back a forth on who said this and that but did you help things with the way your comments came out? You did semi go on a personal rant towards Mike. If his comments were deemed negative then the same can also be said about yours. Only in math do two negatives make a positive 🤣🤣🤣🤣. We are all here to help each other. 👍🏾 With that said please feel free to come find me at any race we may both be attending. Will you be at Ripon for Asphalt Wars on Saturday?

Mike + Bert = positive.....lol....
I would never recommend only one body for Usgt, with all the crashes, etc,...Anyway, $30 in this hobby should not scare anybody here unless you're a minor or on Social Security...
Best,
Mike
I'll bet it was his TA07 conversion that I still can't believe I didn't buy. If it's an Exo6 you are wanting, drop me a line. :-)
