NutDriver 07-11-2020 10:38 AM

Very nice Mclaren body....

MonTech body works great!

I ran the MonTech Porsche body this weekend and I was .2 to .3 faster a lap on pavement. I’d check it out for USGT outside. I haven’t run it on carpet yet.

I usually use SpeedwayPal drift car wing mounts with a lexan wing. There are any number of companies making wing mounts for drift cars. The Tamiya racing wing is also an easy way to go, it comes with the wing and mounts.

Good job.....I am also getting really serious about setting up my USGT AE car with all the new electronics, battery, etc, for a good run on black carpet next season...

DARKSIDE 07-15-2020 11:00 AM

thanks guys...few notes

body handles great and it really looks like a car you would see on any given day...Yes those are mirrors and no they did not change the way the car drove, but they did add to the realism of what USGT is anyway scale looks....yes that is a Team Associated TC7.2 with Reedy Power esc servo battery ect...but with the Motiv USGT Spec Motor....and no I dont sand my tires I run them in naturally.... I put them on sauce them run them, repeat...no I dont "blast" my battery, I simple charge them 10 to 14 amps...yes the body is legal weight at 98 grams
