I think being unbelted it would just concave the tire so that you'd drive on the sidewalls. Instead look into MST wheels (they seem like the new 'HPI' company). Really nice looking range of 24mm wheels. And also tried and true Tamiya spoked wheels.

Trying to get into usgt. What tires, good aero bodies, and what are some good strong motors to run in this 21.5 class.

There is only one spec motor produced for USGT.

Check with your local track- few tracks in Cali require the Spec USGT motor and it would be at a disadvantage running against a ROAR 21.5 which a lot of tracks are going by.

The only mandatory spec item is the USGT tire and USGT legal body. Most tracks are enforcing that part of the rules.

I guess usgt racers will need to carry both types of 21.5t motors in their bags just in case....
