That was the appeal of the class. A wide range of bodies. For the majority, body isn’t going to make the difference. Fast guys could use a shoebox, they’d still be the fast guys. Now it looks more like euroGT then USGT.

I miss the original intent of scale this class was "supposed" to have too.
Our club runs a spec GT class and all the bodies have to be real scale cars. Super tight racing and the cars look great. Only scale GT sports cars and scale rally cars. Zero body advantage so I rock what I like.

I’m running a badly beaten Camaro body. Left is today practice on carpet. Right is a practice race heat on pavement. I’m still off the pace of the fast guys. How much would a newer body improve me. With actual racing starting back next weekend. I might have to find out. Considering this car hadn’t been run in two years. I’m very suprised by these numbers

I’ve run a TC body, The stratus, Caddy, Camaro even a VTA Mustang body on my USGT car. Times were all around the same. I’m not at, or ever probably will be, at the level where body makes much difference

MD brought up this body: https://aplastics-rc.com/delorean-dm...IbWTYxOa4lrXMs
.... Now... is it cheating to have the MrFusion on it? What's the word on flux capacitors?

I was right there with you a month ago. I read and watched allot of stuff on f1 setup and so on. low speed is primarily a mechanical adjustment in the car to get grip. High speed is primarily adjusting the aerodynamics to get grip. And in between you probably know. I struggled for weeks on a rear grip issue in high speed corners. A friend (marcos) told e to get a neutral body. I did and it worked. I cant say i completely understand aero yet but a body switch stopped my car from losing the rear. Not trying to argue. I was right with you a couple weeks ago. Maybe a body will make me fast but i am happy it gave me the grip I needed.

I’ve got a few bodies that I bought with the plans to compare. Unfortunately on road was in bad place most of last year. Both an outdoor and indoor track closed. Things are just now starting back up. While I can practice on the carpet track. It looks like most racing will be outside for the summer
