I think its the lightes or close to lightest chassis but im not sure on Powertrain weight. It looks similar in weight other than the universals are probably slightly lighter. The things that stand out are the sealed bearing in the dog bones and the precision and fit without allot of finesse. The hex’s are unique and probably save some weight. The belts are very easy to true and the spool is skelotoned very well.

I thought you had actually put all the drivetrain components on a scale like someone did for the A700, which came in at about 83g....I guess the A800 would be around the same weight give or take....Cheers...

That's not an incredibly useful number. For rotating stuff, the moment of inertia is what matters, not the actual weight. That's harder to calculate... That said, in comparison to the total weight of the car, I can't see how reducing drivetrain weight has any significant effect on the behavior of the car.

Back when I was running a TC5 in VTA I swapped the CVD's and hexes for lite weight counterparts, drilled the solid lay shaft and trimmed the extra threads of the axles. The car accelerated better and picked up a little speed.

Is the Bitty AGATA USGT legal or will it be?

10 USGT at SCRC yesterday. The entire A-Main was running the Bitty Venom. #groupthink

More than likely seeing how there is no doubt what it was designed around. I'm waiting to see it get on the list before ordering mine. May just order one anyway. Love the realistic stylings of the bodies that are surfacing now. Wonder what the companies are working on now? Any ideas? I know some have insight on what is being developed now. Question is will anyone spill the beans.

Agreed, the agata looks like it will have tons of steering ... definitely not a body for asphalt where ur always searching for rear traction :tire:

Bodies legal or illegal

I like the idea of what the IIC race did this year. I hear that drivers could only use licensed bodies which forced them to not used the wedges and soap bar shaped bodies......just my 2 cents!
