I like MST wheels. They are well done and have a nice look and feel.
I'm running some sets in 26mm with our TT02 parking lot bashers. No technical problems and or broken wheels so far. Michael |
Sorry, no experience about this.

Any word on the New Bittydesign body making the approved list? |
It doesn’t “have” to be on the list to be able to run it. It is helpful, but not required. Only thing required is your local track or race director of the particular event allows it. Body Specifications: Refer to body list for currently available/approved bodies. Discontinued unlisted bodies will be added as the USVTA sees fit to add them in based on the spirit of the class. Your Local track can always make adjustments to this rule...Please use the following if you want deviate from the Body list for local racing Any 190mm or 200mm body. Body can be anybody that is NOT or HAS BEEN on the ROAR T2 body list. FWD encouraged to use FWD bodies. Can AM or IMSA style bodies, similar to 1/12 or 1/8 bodies using an integrated wing are illegal. EX: Porsche 962 style bodies or LeMans P1. Japanese GT OK German DTM OK NO Trucks vans minivans school buses garbage trucks, ultility vehicles, moon landers, zambonis, golf carts, quads, etc allowed. No fantasy or unproduced concept vehicles. If it’s not a car it’s not legal. Track director or race promoter has the final say on legality of discontinued unlisted bodies. Altering the body for the purpose of lightening by sanding, scraping, or any other method is ILLEGAL. Minimum finished body weight : 95 g And just Incase anyone is wondering what the AGATA weighs, my finished, ready to race, including the bumper foam included with the AGATA body weighs 96g. |

Does ROAR have a GT class?
ROAR does not have a GT style class. And that’s disappointing that the body is disallowed until it is “official”. It would be a surprise if it’s not allowed soon. I am sure that nothing was promised prior to production, but I don’t see a company like Bitty designing a body (and even making the only wing mold line the USGT max legal 10mm) without being pretty dang sure that what they produced would be allowed. |
USGT was a class offered at 2019 roar carpet nationals

The weight of the bumper foam should not be included in the total weight of the body in order to make minimum weight: that's illegal...
|
There should be a different minimum weight for the bodies that come with any pre attached foam to make it fair for other foamless body manufacturers, since the foam's weight and low position effectively lowers the total CG of the body compared to another body of the same weight that does not have any foam installed...There should also be another rule to stop the addition of body accessories in order to make minimum weight: hopefully there won't be any polycarbonate lead based paint used to make minimum weight.....

Seriously worrying about how your body makes weight is picking fly scat out of pepper. Bodies need approval and they need to be a certain weight. Who the heck really cares how your body makes weight I sure dont. Making more rules is just another way to steer people away from usgt. It's bad enough that at the vta national race tour this past weekend their was only 10 usgt cars that showed up. Make things easier not stupid.
